DeLille Cellar’s Wine Dinner May 19, 2017

Coho Restaurant hosted a special dinner with DeLille Cellars on May 19, 2017. DeLille Cellars is a boutique artisan winery located in Woodinville, Washington. Jay Soloff, one of the winery's founders will host the evening. The winery was founded in 1992 and is led by celebrated winemaker Chris Upchurch. The foundation of their wines is the fruit from the prestigious Red Mountain AVA. Their wines embody Washington terroir and the great wine making tradition in our state. And with Chef Bill's deft food pairings, it was an unforgettable evening! The dinner party was entertained and educated by Jay Soloff, Co-Founder of DeLille Cellars, and his wife, Catherine. Their presentation styles complement each other perfectly to ensure everyone feels welcomed and amused.

The Menu and Wine Pairings

Chicken Pâté baby spring mix, cypress grove lamp chopper Rose 2016 Poached Spot Prawns english peas & baby carrots, tempura shallots, beurre blanc Roussanne 2014 Pan Roasted Duck wild rice risotto, wilted pea tendrils, morel mushrooms, blackberry demi-glace D2 2013 Grilled Ribeye potato gratin, seasonal vegetables Four Flags 2013 Flourless Chocolate Cake strawberry & rhubarb compote, chocolate shavings Signature Syrah 2014 This special event was sold out even before our menu was available! Six courses for $55 and five wines for $35. Some parties even made a night of it by staying at the Tucker House Inn at a discounted rate.
