
Owners Anna Maria de Freitas and David Pass, moved to historic Friday Harbor from Maryland four years ago to pursue their dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast. They started with the Harrison House Suites and a year later took on the Tucker House. They have lovingly rebuilt these three historic houses to provide an atmosphere of casual northwest elegance for their guests. Prior to moving to Washington, Anna Maria, co-chaired the Baltimore Chapter of Slow Foods International. Anna Maria and David have a curiosity and passion for food that brings them to food-centric cultures for their vacations. These trips have expanded their culinary horizons and provided them with a wide palette of flavors and tastes.
Chef John Peakes is a Friday Harbor native who brings an extensive background in culinary arts and restaurant work to the Coho kitchen. He is a graduate from the California Culinary Academy and has worked in a number of prestigious restaurants including the Tahoe Seasons Resort, Sharon Heights County Club, Palo Alta, and the Third Floor Fish Café in Kirkland. After moving back to Friday Harbor, he opened 120 Nichols with his mother, Bonnie.
